London is a great city to walk around, but it can be handy to jump on public transport now and then to move swiftly…or indeed to avoid the inevitable rain we get here. As each of the images on the home page map have a ‘nearest station’ I figured it would be a good idea to include additional information on the current underground status along with a searchable tube map.
There are several spots along the Thames where you can gain access to the beach level and this can give you a nice vantage point, but potentially also wet feet. Make sure you wear decent shoes…and beware when the tide is coming in as it moves quickly. Here are the current low and high tide times based on London Bridge:
